News from somewhere near the Big 'D'

OK, kids. Wake the dog and call the neighbors - we're looking at the ground floor of the new web site!

Thru the site, I'll be posting updates on current music projects, dates for upcoming gigs, CD and music product info, and whatever else I see fit to throw into the party hat!

Many thanks to Keith Siegfried (site designer and curator) for posting my cartoons, CD art, and ramblings.

Sensitive singer/songwriter  yadda, yadda, blah, blah

For the indie rock side o' things, I'm currently playing once a month on the west side of Southlake, TX at Starbucks, bringing my weepy-butt tuneage out to sell some CDs and get the business moving in the right direction. For those nearby, it's the Starbucks on highway 1709 and White Chapel Road.

Bring your axe and vocals - we'll jam, too! Yeah, I'm trying to hone my 'gumbo' vision of everything-and-the-kitchen-sink for music and music styles. Pop, roots rock, country, electronica jams, blues, jazz, and indie stuff: it's all good and it's all there, so come join the fun and get buzzed on great coffee from the Texaco of the coffee industry, Starbucks!

Thanks for the support! God bless y'all!

Classic Jazz on tap

If you're ever in Grapevine, TX - that's just west of the north tip of the Dallas/Fort Worth airport - check out Farina's Winery on the main drag. Great food and wine, plus saxman Fred Mills and I do a classic jazz gig a few times a month.

New instructional CDs now available!

Check out the Music Instruction section of the site for my newest releases! Codger Rock and Big Brown Dog Blues both offer backing tracks to practice your lead chops to.

Stuff currently on the slate

Been working on a number of CD projects - some music instruction stuff coming down the pike, a new EP of songs (and probably the re-recording and remix of this past Spring's release of "A Place At The Table"), and a jazz CD in the works. Man, I'm SO glad I'm making music in the 'modern age' - too many toys, so little time. But it's worth taking a shot at it!
